Andrew.png

Andrew Dyerson

Music Producer

Andrew Dyerson is a loving husband, caring father of 3, and successful entrepreneur whose journey is filled with immense experience in the Gymnastics, Cheer, and Dance industries. His parents enrolled him in gymnastics training at the early age of 3 with McCracken’s Gymnastics in Olathe, Kansas for a positive outlet to expel extra energy. Andrew began competitive gymnastics at just 7 years old and quickly rose through the gymnastic rankings, winning Regional, State, and National events throughout the United States. Andrew continued his competitive gymnastics career until the age of 15.

Andrew was introduced to cheerleading immediately following his retirement from the gymnastics world, and much like with gymnastics, he quickly excelled in cheerleading at the high school level, earning 4 high school All-American Awards. His talent led to an invitation to join Pro Cheer All Stars in 1996, an undefeated program at NCA & UCA from 1992-1995. He led Pro Cheer All Stars to Coed National Championships at NCA & UCA from 1996-1998, making him both a 3-time NCA Champion and 2-Time UCA Champion. Andrew was also a 3-Time NCA Top 3 Best Cheerleader in addition to being a 2-Time NCA Top 3 Partner Stunt Finalist from 1996-1998.

Andrew began his college cheer career at the University of Nebraska before transferring to the University of Oklahoma. Attending a top ranked D1 school while being surrounded by top notch athletes only fueled his desire to be the best. He was a major contributor to 3 Top 10 finishes at NCA College Nationals, including choreographing the 2004 routine. As a member of the OU team, Andrew was invited and then ultimately selected to be a member of Cheer Athletics Wildcats where he earned 2 additional Coed National Champion awards, bringing his NCA title award count to 5 and Championship awards to a total of 7.

During his time at OU, Andrew discovered his love for mixing cheer and dance music. One night while hanging out at a teammate’s apartment, he overheard one teammate mixing music for the high school team he coached. It was literally Janet Jackson, huh x huh SFX, into Smooth Criminal, woo woo SFX, Without Me. Andrew was so intrigued with the process that he borrowed the program, installed it on his computer, and started his journey into music production.

During Andrew’s tenure at OU, he helped many teams throughout Oklahoma with mixes for pep rallies and high school performances. Upon graduating in 2004, Andrew started Twisted Mix, a cheer and dance music mixing company. From its inception, Twisted Mix serviced several hundred teams, including mixes for pep rallies, middle schools and high schools, as well as U.S. and International All Star teams. Andrew moved back to Kansas City in 2006 and opened Destiny Cheer, an All Star Cheer training facility dedicated to the physical and mental growth of athletes through cheerleading. Dyerson owned and ran Destiny Cheer for 3 consecutive years before deciding to solely focus on the growth of Twisted Mix. In 2016, Twisted Mix partnered with Go!Fight!Win! for client management and business operations, bringing yearly mixing projects to 125+ projects/season. In 2018, Andrew took a break from the Cheer and Dance world to focus on his family and their relocation to Northern Colorado.

While being a stay-at-home dad and still having a hand in music mixing, Andrew discovered a greater love for music, beat, and vocal production. Andrew rekindled relationships within the Cheer and Dance industry and after a year hiatus, Flawless Sound Creations was founded. Andrew’s studio specializes in made-to-order Cheer and Dance music production, focusing on the budget minded customer. Flawless Sound Creations introduces an a-la-cart concept, allowing every customer to have complete control of their music production budgets as well as available bundle options. Andrew welcomes YOU to be a part of the Flawless family!
